I’m going to find a longer version of the sweep tone because the way it rattles the walls and various items in the room is nuts. Found these Optical Illusions and I still can’t get my head around them! For example, in the picture below squares A & B are the exact same colour.

World’s Tallest Virtual Building - No longer an active project, but from a pixel art point of view, it’s very neat.

Inspired by the link boxes on Brad Sucks, I’ve gone ahead and looked into creating my own link box posts. You’ll notice the occassional post is only a single dot point in a grey box, I’ll be using this sort of thing when I’m not up to writing a full post on something I find, but feel it’s worth posting.

My implementation is based on the post Photo Matt » On Asides and whilst the implementation is a little loose in a few areas, including magic numbers and a dodgy output buffering hack, it took me no time at all to hack together and looks pretty nice!
